“You should be allowed to say outrageous things.”
I dream of a Star Trek world. This think tank will focus on creative actions
designed to initiate a global paradigm shift towards a world where racism, poverty
and war will be a thing of the past.

Operation Northwoods was a proposed false flag operation that originated within the US Department of Defense of the United States government in 1962. The proposals called for CIA operatives to both stage and commit acts of terrorism against American military and civilian targets, blame them on the Cuban government,
and use them to justify a war against Cuba. The possibilities detailed
in the document included the remote control of civilian aircraft which
would be secretly repainted as US Air Force planes,
a fabricated ‘shoot down’ of a US Air Force fighter aircraft off the
coast of Cuba, the possible assassination of Cuban immigrants, sinking
boats of Cuban refugees on the high seas, blowing up a U.S. ship, and orchestrating terrorism in U.S. cities. The proposals were rejected by President John F. Kennedy.
Fidel Castro
had taken power in Cuba in 1959 and began allowing communists into the
new Cuban government, nationalizing U.S. businesses and improving
relations with the Soviet Union, arousing the concern of the U.S.
military due to the Cold War.
The operation proposed creating public support for a war against Cuba
by blaming the Cuban government for terrorist acts that would be
perpetrated by the U.S. government. To this end, Operation Northwoods proposals recommended hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of false evidence that would implicate the Cuban government. It stated:
The desired result from the execution of this plan would
be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering
defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba
and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the
Western Hemisphere.
Several other proposals were included within Operation Northwoods, including real or simulated actions against various U.S. military
and civilian targets. The operation recommended developing a “Communist
Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area, in other Florida cities and
even in Washington”, which involved the bombing of civilian targets,
which was to be blamed on the Cuban government to paint a false image of
Fidel Castro and misinform the American public.
The plan was drafted by the Joint Chiefs of Staff, signed by Chairman Lyman Lemnitzer and sent to the Secretary of Defense. Although part of the US government’s anti-communist Cuban Project, Operation Northwoods was never officially accepted; it was authorized by the Joint Chiefs of Staff,
but then rejected by President Kennedy. None of the false flag
operations became active under the auspices of the Operation Northwoods
proposals.
Washington, DC: âCCP must lie in order to cover up the terrible
things that theyâre doing in China, in Hong Kong, and around the world.
To do this, they use narrative warfare to control what people see as the
truth.â
One of the few social media channels to fearlessly cover China is the popular and respected China Uncensored
YouTube channel (1.95 million subscribers). To ensure editorial
independence, Chris Chappell co-owns America Uncovered LLCâalong with
co-producers Matt Gnaizda and Shelley Zhang. Together the team not only
produces China Uncensored, but three other shows as well, the longer
form podacst China Unscripted, America Uncovered and Gamers Unbeaten.
In this edition of âIndo-Pacific: Behind the Headlinesâ we speak with
Chris Chappell, the New York-based creator and host of China Uncensored
about their Hong Kong Lennon Wall.
Q: Whatâs the idea behind the Hong Kong Lennon Wall?
A: Five years ago, the China Uncensored team was in Hong Kong,
covering one of the biggest protests in human history. I will never
forget watching 2 million people march through the streets of Hong Kong.
They were protesting the Chinese Communist Partyâs trampling of Hong
Kongâs freedoms and autonomy. I felt incredibly inspired by Hongkongersâ
courage.
In 2020, the CCP took advantage of the Covid pandemic to impose a
National Security Law on Hong Kong that essentially made protesting
illegal. They instilled fear and silenced Hong Kongâs civil society.
Today, many Hong Kong activists are imprisoned or in exile.
So to make sure people remember the Hong Kong protests, we created a
digital version of one of the things Hongkongers did five years ago.
They put up sticky notes on walls all across the city with political
statements, and called each location a âLennon Wallââwhich has its roots
in the anti-communist movements in Eastern Europe in the 1980s. Making a
Lennon Wall is extremely illegal in Hong Kong now, though, so we
created a digital version online.
This new Lennon Wall is not just for Hongkongers. Itâs for everyone,
anywhere in the world. My hope is that people who feel powerless against
the CCP can feel empowered to do something, even if itâs small. Thousands of people doing something small adds up to something big. Go to https://hklennonwall.com/
and post your own message on the wall. And share it with your family and
friends. Our initial goal was to get over 10,000 unique posts, but we
hope to get many more.
Victor Marchetti used the expression “cult of intelligence” to denounce what he viewed as a counterproductive mindset and culture of secrecy, elitism, amorality and lawlessness within and surrounding the Central Intelligence Agency in the service of American imperialism: There exists in our nation today a powerful and dangerous secret cult —
the cult of intelligence. Its holy men are the clandestine
professionals of the Central Intelligence Agency. Its patrons and
protectors are the highest officials of the federal government. Its
membership, extending far beyond governmental circles, reaches into the
power centers of industry, commerce, finance, and labor. Its friends are
many in the areas of important public influence — the academic world
and the communications media. The cult of intelligence is a secret
fraternity of the American political aristocracy. The purpose of the
cult is to further the foreign policies of the U.S. government by covert
and usually illegal means, while at the same time containing the spread
of its avowed enemy, communism. Traditionally, the cult’s hope has been
to foster a world order in which America would reign supreme, the
unchallenged international leader. Today, however, that dream stands
tarnished by time and frequent failures. Thus, the cult’s objectives are
now less grandiose, but no less disturbing. It seeks largely to advance
America’s self-appointed role as the dominant arbiter of social,
economic, and political change in the awakening regions of Asia, Africa,
and Latin America. And its worldwide war against communism has to some
extent been reduced to a covert struggle to maintain a self-serving
stability in the Third World, using whatever clandestine methods are
available. (secrets of the c.i.a.)
The Kent State shootings (also known as the May 4 massacre or the Kent State massacre) occurred at Kent State University in the US city of Kent, Ohio, and involved the shooting of unarmed college students by the Ohio National Guard on Monday, May 4, 1970. The guardsmen fired 67 rounds over a period of 13 seconds, killing four students and wounding nine others, one of whom suffered permanent paralysis.
Some of the students who were shot had been protesting the Cambodian Campaign, which President Richard Nixon announced during a television address on April 30. Other students who were shot had been walking nearby or observing the protest from a distance.
There was a significant national response to the shootings: hundreds of universities, colleges, and high schools closed throughout the United States due to a student strike of four million students, and the event further affected public opinionâat an already socially contentious timeâover the role of the United States in the Vietnam War.
