âBoys at a detention centre asked other inmates to break their legs in order to be moved elsewhere and escape being abused by staff, a former detainee has claimed.â âMany of those sent to Medomsley were first-time offenders often detained for relatively minor offences.
Ray Poar was 17 when he was sent there for stealing biscuits from a factory and has waived his right to anonymity. He said: “It’s always in my head, the shame, it’s ruined my life, it’s completely ruined it.” On one occasion Mr Poar remembered being woken up after wetting his bed and being forced to bunny hop naked to the showers. He said: “When I couldn’t make it to the showers I was kicked.
“We knew we couldn’t turn around to them and complain to them about what had happened with Husband because they were part of it, they were the ones that were kicking us about every day. “The odd punch in the arm, the ribs, the back of the knees, every day they were doing it. You had nobody to talk to.”
In 2003, Newcastle Crown Court heard Husband used his position of authority at the centre to systematically abuse his victims from 1974 to 1984. He was jailed after being found guilty of 10 counts of indecent assault and one of a serious sexual offence after police said almost two dozen victims came forward.
One man who wished to remain anonymous said some of the worst violence he suffered was from fellow inmates but he alleges it was orchestrated by prison staff. He said: “They were telling you that you were worthless, that’s why you were in there, you were no good, nobody wanted you. “I was in the dorm, I felt being kicked and punched and slapped. When I’ve tried to look up, because I was in bed, I saw a prison officer at the door smiling. “Then I realised he’s put them up to this and I just curled up into a ball and took what they threw at us. I thought tonight it’s my turn, it will be somebody else’s tomorrow.”
About 70 Durham Police detectives are working on the inquiry. Det Supt Paul Goundry described the reports as “horrific” and those who were sent there were faced with “what was effectively a brutal regime”. “If you ended up in the kitchens you would almost certainly be raped and sexually assaulted,” he said.
If that is not systematic child abuse, I donât know what is, how could this have gone on?
People must have known, turned a blind eye and covered this up.
Everybody should take note that these brave men, are standing up for us all when they make their statements, standing up for all our children when they tell us of the sadistic torture that was inflicted on them when they were only children themselves.
It is up to us to listen, to stand with them and call with them for justice, for lives blighted before they began.
As Bill Maloney says we are all victims of this abuse, everyone in the world. We have a duty to do everything we can to stop any more children being raped, tortured and worse, by sadists who have been allowed to continue for years and years and years

âWhat is really going on at The Peopleâs Voice TV ?â
I am being asked over and over again, I didnât really tell anyone I was working there as I had only gone in to help a friend who was being bullied there. However as I have now been outed by Chris Spiveyâs article there is no hiding place for me.
“The People’s Voice” is the brainchild of David Icke, who has been haranguing and harassing people for money to set up a “Free and independant media”. As if people don’t have enough pressure now we must pay David Icke for our “Freedom”
I got a great story from Ivan MacFaden who sailed from New South Wales to Osaka to San Fransisco, He tells of the desolation he found and the shock he felt comparing this trip to the same trip he had taken ten years before, I thought it would be great to help launch the show with such a relevant international story, Mark Windows and Richard Rowland agreed and I was instructed to call Ivan and make the necessary arrangements for the next day, This would mean Ivan, in Sydney would have to get up at 4.00 am, however a cheerful and laid back man agreed and having spoken to Ivan I knew the interview would be great as articulate as he was over the phone.

However Plagiarism is really not my style and I knew I would have to pull Mark for his unprofessional behavior, arrogant and sexist as he is I really could not let this pass, I did not know enough when Sonia was treated so badly, I hugged her and supported her as she left the building, but why should everyone who comes into contact with The peopleâs voice be treated so unprofessionally and left hurt and embarrassed?

Should people send in hard earned money? Certainly not, not until this shambles is sorted out, to profess to be independent and alternative whilst giving X main stream media people money and power is, to say the least misguided and is a fatal flaw that will never produce the powerful voice that people had hoped for.
Is this really The Peopleâs Voiceâ¦..The voice of the people ?

“There are many ways to calm a negative energy without suppressing or fighting it. You recognize it, you smile to it, and you invite something nicer to come up and replace it; you go somewhere in nature, or you do some walking meditation.â â Thich Nhat Hanh
In space, the powers of creation and destruction work differently than they do here on earth. Matter appears, dissolves and reappears just like here but in a much s l o w e r m a n n e r. Matter that makes up you and me. On earth weâre refreshed at such high rates of speed that the particles of matter disappear and reappear in essentially the same place ..making our position more or less predictable from one instant to the next. In space, however, itâs so cold that things take a little longer ..when measured in nano-seconds. So, instead of the high-speed collisions that we see on earth .. particles are refreshed by way of quantum tunneling in space [link]. This means we could wink out of one place one moment and reappear in another place the next ..kind of like looking at someone through a strobe light. And not only that .. this kind of delay lowers the probability of particles sticking together ..meaning thereâs a good chance that we could dissolve in the process.

Nguyá»
n VÄn Lém (referred to as Captain Bảy Lá»p) (died 1 February 1968 in Saigon) was a member of the Viet Cong who was summarily executed in Saigon during the Tet Offensive. The execution was captured on film by photojournalist Eddie Adams, and the momentous image became a symbol of the inhumanity of war.
On the second day of Tet, amid fierce street fighting, Lém was captured and brought to Brigadier General Nguyá»
n Ngá»c Loan, then Chief of the Republic of Vietnam National Police. Using his personal sidearm, General Loan summarily executed Lém in front of AP photographer Eddie Adams and NBC television cameraman Vo Suu. The photograph and footage were broadcast worldwide, galvanizing the anti-war movement; Adams won a 1969 Pulitzer Prize for his photograph. (read more)
An
old man was going for a walk on the beach, when he noticed a little boy
feeding a thin, shaggy looking dog with bits of bread.
He went up to the boy and asked him why he was sharing his bread with the dogs.
The little boy answered, “Because they have nothing. No home, no family, and if I donât feed them they will die.”
âBut there are homeless dogs everywhere,” the old man replied. âSo your efforts donât really make a differenceâ
The little boy looked at the dog and stroked him. âBut for him, for this little dog, it makes all the difference in the world.â
